The Jill’s House Summer Internship is a 10-week program for currently-enrolled college students who have a passion for serving God through loving children with intellectual disabilities. The program is located in the Washington, D.C. area and runs from late May through beginning- to mid-August, with an end date contingent on each intern’s college schedule.
As an intern, you will serve as a Client Care Specialist (CCS). You will be fully-trained to work directly with groups of kids with intellectual disabilities, engaging them in a wide variety of fun activities at Jill’s House Tysons during the week and at our campsites during the weekends.

The Jill’s House Fellowship is an intensive year of service in the Washington, D.C. area for recent college grads who have a strong desire to serve the Lord and an interest in working with children with intellectual disabilities. Through paid full-time work experience, intentional community, and opportunities to grow in faith, fellows will have the tools to grow and enrich every area of their lives.
As a Fellow, you will serve primarily as a Client Care Specialist (CCS). That means you will be fully trained to work directly with kids with intellectual disabilities, engaging them in a wide variety of fun activities. Jill’s House fellows typically work about 44 hours per week, including two 8- or 12-hour shifts each weekend.
