It’s officially Fall! On Saturday, September 22, General Dynamics hosted their annual Fall Festival for employees and their families. As a generous partner of Jill’s House, General Dynamics graciously offered 100 tickets for 23 of our Jill’s House families to join in the fall festivities! Activities included: a farmer’s market with bags of free goodies to take home, a character pancake making station, kite building and flying, a petting zoo complete with a friendly llama and fuzzy bunnies, a delicious tented buffet, face painting, live music, pony rides, and so much more.

One mom said, “We went from section to section, and my girls just radiated happiness, just so much laughter and excitement. Every detail seemed to be thought of, it was a wonderful kick off and celebration of fall.”

Our families were so overjoyed and grateful to have the opportunity to see their children enjoying a variety of fun, sensory-friendly activities! The caring staff facilitating the activities throughout the day made sure to create a safe and encouraging environment, so each child felt included.

Another parent said, “Our time at the fall festival was an amazing time for our family to enjoy an activity that worked for both of our boys…and that can be hard to find. General Dynamics made us feel so special and created an environment where we felt welcomed and celebrated.”
